Why people keep Buiness Ethics

Buinesses Ethics have evolved over the years because of the progression of the economy and the advancement in technology. Over the years tho people have broken and kept these ethics. The reason people keep these ethics is because human nature wants to fallow what is right so that everyone else will too to keep a even playing field.

I don't really understand what you are saying as far as the ethics go. Businesses can feel their ethics are infallable and result in self superiority syndrome. Occasionally it is symptoms like that which result in union busting companies, I.E. Walmart and Target who feel they are above reproach when it comes to such things.

I would reccomend a much more hard line business constitution or the like proving that business actually have some form of commitment to protecting it's workers. Also, what specific ethics are you referencing? There can be the question going back and forth where a business feels the ends justify the means, ergo the liquidation of thousands of employees for profit. Or, ending foreign trade in other countries to guarantee better jobs on American soil. There are hundreds of examples in between so I'd like to request a bit of clarification.

A companies reputation as similar to that of an individuals; when a man keeps his word he is trusted and builds good report with others. That' is actually the point I was trying to get after. People unfortunately lie, cheat and steal and don't usually get much better when in positions of authority to run businesses. When a business has an actual document or written statement claiming of their intentions for fair wages and the like, it helps force them to remain legit.
Ergo, a reason that unions are created in these businesses.
